Goal - Pushing the metadata and extraction (Continue) … + Vetting and Auto Merge

16th June 2025 (Day 1)

• Track diff changes made to the plugin in modernization metadata (https://github.com/jenkins-infra/plugin-modernizer-tool/pull/1069)

• Fields like pullRequestUrl ,pullRequestStatus and checks runs are updated dynamically via actions. This is what the metadata looks like after the latest PR (https://github.com/jenkins-infra/plugin-modernizer-tool/pull/1069) made.

17th June 2025 (Day 2)

• Made a record for Diff Stats
• Test on some repos to see if we are getting correct diff stats after the modernization.

18th June 2025 (Day 3) (Weekly)

• Make a flow chart of what the tool is able to achieve till now regarding metadata.
• Reports about migration
• Counting the number of deprecated methods
• Make a cli option for push metadata
• Focus now on auto merge PRs (vetting process) and validation.

19th June 2025 (Day 4)

• Validate modernization metadata before pushing from the CLI tool https://github.com/jenkins-infra/plugin-modernizer-tool/pull/1074
