Goal - Consolidating metadata + Generating reports

30 June 2025 (Day 1)

• Clean up regarding workflows (shifting the implementation on the tool) https://github.com/jenkins-infra/plugin-modernizer-tool/pull/1097
• Tried many workarounds to trigger checks after a PR made via actions. Found the SSH one feasible.
• But For now let’s keep the merging and checks to maintainer when updating metadata via a cron job. Maybe in future would resolve to SSH.

1 July 2025 (Day 2)

• Clean up of workflows, fix naming conventions and move permissions to the calling workflow.
• Add auto-merge workflow implementation https://github.com/jenkins-infra/plugin-modernizer-tool/pull/1097
• Access fields via GitHub context than passing secrets and PR number as input

2 July 2025 (Day 3) (Weekly)

• Weekly meeting - this week will focus on consolidating metadata
• make reports

3 July 2025 (Day 4)

• Working on generating reports using a python script

4 July 2025 (Day 5)

• Opened issue about https://github.com/jenkins-infra/plugin-modernizer-tool/issues/1099
• Made an initial iteration for generating report.

5 July 2025 (Day 6)

• Working on consolidating metadata workflow
